Thanks for visiting Bláithín (Irish for little flower) Greeting Cards + Gifts.
My name is Gillian and I started this little business in 2020 after Covid hit my primary wedding stationery business, Little Ivory Weddings. Bláithín began as a dried flower business, but now, after a couple of years, I have changed focus to growing an eco-friendly Irish greeting card and handmade gift store.
As well as greeting cards, I also create punch needle gifts. Including Christmas decorations, wall art and customised letter hangings. These are all lovingly made by hand, using as many sustainable materials as possible, including natural wool felt backing and jute string.
I am passionate about trying to be as environmentally friendly and sustainable in what I do as a small business. So my greeting cards are printed on upcycled corn card which is made using the by-products of corn production. It is a beautiful off white card and manufactured using green energy.
All of the packaging used is either compostable or recycled/recyclable. From the kraft brown envelopes to the corn starch bio-plastic bags that I put the cards into.
