Blaithin Makes is a creative studio based in Ireland, specialising in punch needle art, handmade gifts, and craft workshops.

Working with textiles, colour, and texture, we create playful, contemporary pieces and run beginner-friendly punch needle workshops in Ireland, designed to make creativity accessible and enjoyable.

At the heart of Blaithin Makes is punch needle embroidery, a therapeutic textile technique used to create bold, textured artwork.

Each piece is handmade loop by loop using the slow process of punch needle embroidery which is centuries old, making a resurgence in recent years. It is a tactile, textile art - perfect for creating cosy, touchable art.

Alongside handmade work, we run craft workshops in Ireland, where people can try punch needle embroidery and learn the skills needed to create their very own textile art.

These workshops take place in Dublin, Kildare, Wicklow, and surrounding areas, and are suitable for beginners, groups, and anyone looking for a creative experience.

All pieces and workshops are rooted in slow, thoughtful making. Blaithin Makes is about encouraging creativity, exploring texture, and celebrating handmade craft in Ireland.
